Golden Larch Blessing

The Golden Larches send a Blessing of Beautiful Existence
even amid harsh circumstances
The Golden Larches personifies a Life Force
that is grateful to be alive.
My friend, Erika, recently hiked in Manning Park, British Columbia, and experienced the Magical Golden Larches. She mentioned their needles that felt soft to the touch. I have heard about them but have yet to have the opportunity to see them. When she sent me the photos, I was overwhelmed by their beauty and magical allure.
These Gentle Ancient Elders are willing to share their wisdom, though reaching their habitat requires a demanding hike. And they only display their golden radiance for a few weeks each year. Seeing them requires effort and commitment.
They are wise, powerful, and beautiful teachers. I am grateful that they exist. They whisper a Beautiful Song of Survival. As lotuses that grow and thrive in mud, the Golden Larches shower us with the powerful wisdom of a determination to live no matter the circumstance. Not only do they survive, but they seem to embrace living with passion and focus (& look stunning doing so). "Alpine larches (or Larix lyallii) are the only coniferous, deciduous trees. Despite cones like evergreen trees, alpine larchs drop their needles every autumn. Before doing so, the hands turn a gorgeous golden-yellow colour for a short time. Alpine larch trees thrive above 2000 meters, surviving extreme weather and low temperatures. Alpine larch trees grow best at elevation in dry, cold climates.
For this reason, alpine larch forests are rare. Beautiful, alpine larch trees are some of British Columbia's hardiest and most ancient. Despite their small size, some of the trees in Manning Park are almost 2000 years old!" (Off Track Travel)
Thank you, Erika, for sharing your image and adventure.
